I know I've been a bit MIA lately. I apologize. Things have been hectic with school and the current show I'm in, and I haven't had the energy or motivation. On the bright side, we only have two shows left, and then I'm on spring break for a week which means that I'll have plenty of time to catch up on blogging. I have an entire list of posts I've been wanting/meaning to write, and I'll finally have the chance to write (and/or draft so I can post later on).
Here's what I've been up too for the last few weeks:

Our show! It's a blue-grass/country musical that's basically a country version of the Princess Bride. But with more rape (yay college theatre)

Another show! I've been cast in the second of the two MainStage productions this semester, and I'm super thrilled. Laundry & Bourbon/Lonestar are both one act plays, and the characters are all married (Elizabeth & Roy, Hattie and Ray, Amy Lee and Cletis). It follows the same country theme as Robber, but it's a lot more modern.

If any of you are familiar with classical/sacred music, you may be familiar with Faure's Requiem. This was our headlining piece together as the University Concert Choir, but we also had a separate set just as the Chamber Singers.
That's really about it. Besides school, all I've been doing is performing and auditioning.
But it's all okay because this is what I want to do with my life. Performing is truly my passion. It's literally like a drug, without all the harmful effects like death.
